Event Details

Start your morning in conversation with National Geographic Explorers – scientists, photographers, and researchers with stories from the field that captivate audiences of all ages.

Coffee with an Explorer is an intimate small-group experience where guests can hear firsthand stories from National Geographic Explorers whose work is shaping how we understand wildlife, science, culture and our changing planet.

Over coffee in Explorers Eatery, you’ll go beyond headlines and documentaries to hear personal stories from the field, ask questions and connect directly with the people behind the work.

Jason Baldes

This week, meet Explorer and indigenous ecologist Jason Baldes to discuss his work in wildlife conservation, including efforts to restore bison to Tribal lands and support Indigenous stewardship of natural resources.
