Redwoods: Anatomy of a Giant

In this week’s screening, we explore the Redwoods, the world's tallest living trees. Almost all of the ancient trees have been cut down, sparking bitter unrest. What is the fate of the remaining giants? In a search for answers, two Explorers embark on monumental journeys. Ecologist Steve Sillet climbs to the crowns of these titans, investigating biological material and discovering new record-breaking trees. And Michael Fay is on a grueling trek to cover the redwoods' only remaining territory, on foot.
